After parking my car in front of a restaurant, I picked up two scratch tickets at a nearby store to play while I enjoyed my food. Each ticket was a winner, and I popped back into the store to get two more tickets. This process was repeated four more times, until I was $16 ahead.

After dinner, I was happily walking back to my car when I noticed something on the windshield: a parking ticket for $16.
